Abstract: Our previous PEARL experiment (RB1810619) on LTL zeolite with fluorinert as a pressure-transmitting fluid contradicts the data we collected using silicon oil as pressure-transmitting media on the ID15B beamline at the ESRF before. In PEARL data we see a definite reversible phase transition at around 1.2GPa, while there are no transitions in ESRF data. There could be several reasons for this discrepancy. The difference in pressure-transmitting media is the most obvious reason, we think that silicon oil may have penetrated the pores of the zeolite and thus prevented the phase transition. In order for us to confirm this, we require two days on PEARL beamline to perform the high-pressure diffraction experiments using the penetrated pressure media this time. If we do not see the transition this would confirm that the oil penetration in the pores has interfered with the phase transition.
